Welcome to Sea Turtle Specialists Corp. (STS), a dynamic 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Palm Beach County, Florida! In just one year, we’ve established a foundation for lasting impact, directly enhancing sea turtle lives. Our dedicated team, with over 100 years of combined expertise, is fueled by passion.
Situated in a hotspot for sea turtle strandings, we provide vital rapid response for rehabilitation. Deeply rooted in southeast Florida, we’re committed to partnerships, research, education, and sea turtle medicine. At STS, we’re more than individual care; we’re champions for a species that’s shaped our oceans for over 100 million years. Recognizing the pressing demand for sea turtle rehabilitation care that surpasses the existing permitted facilities and individuals, our vision is to establish a sea turtle rehabilitation center along the southeast coastline of Florida, serving the coastal counties of northern Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin.
